The Lecrín Valley is situated between Granada and the sea to the extreme west of Sierra Nevada, at 450 m above sea level.

With its pleasant micro climate, its orange, lemon, almond and olive groves watered by irrigation ditches dating back to Arab times, the Valley offers us its natural diversity throughout the whole year.

Our homes are on the eastern shores of the Beznar Reservoir, in a geographical doorway to the Alpujarra Mountains.

Just opposite, to the West we can see the rise of the picturesque Pinos del Valle with its hermitage dedicated to the Cristo del Zapato, a well-known destination for excursionists.

To the North the land rises from Lecrín towards the plains of  towards Granada. To the South, the valley leads down to the reservoir, narrowing through fine rock structures until it reaches the beaches to be found on the Costa Tropical.
