- What technicians intervene in the completion and execution of a project?
Architect
Who has a double function:
a) Draw up the project of construction.
b) Take on the technical management of the works and whose basic responsibility is to see that the project complies with existing regulations and that it is executed and built according to the project.
These functions may or may not be carried out by the same person.
Project Manager
Who has three main functions:
a) Take on the technical management of the construction under the orders of the architect. Their basic responsibility is to see that work is carried out using the right materials and correct building methods. Collaborate with the constructor by offering and checking any changes as well as controlling the quality of materials and the adequate progress of construction.
b) Draw up a detailed safety study to avoid possible accidents while work is going on.
c) As safety co-ordinator, they are responsible for making sure all safety regulations are followed in all areas of the construction.
These functions may or may not be carried out by the same person.
